How do I modify the stomacher of a robe a l'anglaise to resemble the stomacher of a robe a la francaise?

I like the style of the robe a l’anglaise, but I like the stomacher of the robe a la francaise. It reminds me of Elizabeth Swann’s gold gown in Pirates of the Caribbean 1. Any ideas?
